Bonds Feedback: There are an unlimited number as some are not listed. You figure out how many of the ones in your question exist and you will then be smarter than all of us. The world is a big place and any mom and pop shop could issue a bond in a private placement for example.

Bonds Feedback: Nobody knows. There are many different types of bonds available from many different issuers. They can be created for many different reasons such as a new road, a war, a school or other building or an aquisition of another buisiness. They are also issued for different lengths of time such as 5- 30 years. The federal government is the largest issuer of bonds, however, every state, city or county also issues bonds. Almost every corporation issues bonds too.

The only reference I could think of to look for more information are the bond credit bureaus. Try Standard & Poor, Moody’s or Fitch, they are the largest and have information on every company that issues a bond.
